Getting the garden ready on Friday.
We've had a great time this Easter. Friday night Josh and I went to El Rio and watched Battle LA...we had the whole crappy theater to ourselves and it was kinda fun!
Josh had a good idea to make the kids a 'map' to the Easter baskets so Friday night we made them up on the computer. (It is so hard trying to remember what landmarks are on a road when it really counts) Anyway, Saturday morning we got up early and loaded up to go to Roosevelt. The boys read their maps the whole way there. Cody is really smart with maps..."Here's the mountain next is the Forest....." We had to stop in Globe and get more Camcorder tape so that threw them off a bit. (Walmart wasn't on the map)
We got to a rest area at Roosevelt and Josh took the boys potty and the Easter Bunny hid the baskets. The boys were so excited to see that the maps did lead to their baskets way out in the AZ desert! They got new scooters and some fun boats to play with at the river.
There was no room at the lake so the Penrods found a nice spot east at the river. The boys had a great time with their boats and buckets. The water was really cold to me but they didn't seem to mind. By the time we left they were all the way in.
