Ok so if you don't know the movie here's the plot.....While traveling in a trailer to California through the New Mexico Desert, a family is misled to a shortcut going to nowhere by the owner of an isolated gas station and wrecks the car in a rock. Along the night and on the next day, they are attacked by a group of deformed cannibals, fruit of the atmospheric nuclear tests conducted by USA......So I went to visit Josh where he has been working for the last few months and seriously this is the exact spot. There is an ex-military training facility about 10 miles from his trailer. They used it to train after 9-11. It's a ghost town now, so is where Josh is staying. We never saw anyone outside during the day....and I didn't dare look after dark! Also, in the movie the trailer park owner is a fire chief or something......so was the gut that owns the trailer park Josh is staying at. I use the word trailer park loosely.....it consist of a hose for water and an electric cord to plug into. Seriously, this place is FREAKY. I think there is a dog for every person there, maybe 2 dogs per person, and they are the starved mean looking type. On top of that I don't think we will ever get all the goat heads out of our shoes or vehicles...they are everywhere down there. Cody and Brodee are so afraid to walk without shoes now their poor feet are pricked all over. So are mine!!! Ouch! Thank goodness he is only there another week....I won't have to go visit again!
Did you know these things can poke straight through a flip flop and into your foot! There is at least a gazillion per square inch down there.
you are such a trooper. i was so glad when Winslow's long distance job was over. And goat heads are such a pain, i have lost more than one flip flop due to goat head attacks!
