Two months down!

So we've seen some more of Florida recently. A few weeks ago we went to Homosassas Springs Park. It was like a zoo with all native to Florida animals. There were alot of the same animals as in Arizona like coyote's and black bears. I guess there are rattlesnakes here too dangit. We finally saw some Alligators and Manatees. It was pretty nice and cheap, we probably won't go back because there wasn't a whole lot to do that would be worth it again but we took a nice boat ride. It has been so hot here lately and no rain so maybe it would have been nicer in the winter. Then the next week we went to Weeki Wachee Park. This place was way more expensive and really nothing to do. It is a park centered around a natural spring. The water was so cold I could only go in to my knees. There were a few water slides but the kids were too small for them so we just hung out for a while and let them play in the water. There was also another part to the park with Mermaid shows. This has to be the strangest thing I think I've ever seen. You go in a theater and there's a glass wall like at an aquarium where you watch people dressed in mermaid suits swim around to music. They use air hoses to breath from and use their breathing to help move them around. I know that this must take alot of talent because I can't go snorkeling without freaking out and here they are staying under water dancing around with fish and turtles, but I have to say that it was too weird for me. The kids didn't seem to want to watch either so we left after a few minutes.

Cody hasn't tried to run away again thank goodness even though I'm planning on letting him think he's ran away and secretly catching him in the act! Cody's arm seems to be healing just fine and he can do anything he wants with it, still a little bruised but he has definitely steered clear of the horses so that is good. We've all had a head cold this week and mine is just hanging on forever. No Hurricanes to speak of yet. Collin has stayed to the east and D storm is churning so we'll see. Josh and I are going to watch Inception tonight. I got the neighbor kids to agree to babysit tonight so I'm hoping that goes OK. They haven't ever really babysat and the movie is 2 1/2 hours long so they will get broke in the hard way, but there mom will be right next door so it should be good. I still worry though.

Josh did get an email to go to an Umpire training with the place he had the interview. We're thinking it must not be a regular job like we thought. He will have to pay almost $300 dollars for the training and then also buy the uniform and equipment. So we're still trying to figure that out. We found out that Zachary won two bids to re-vamp some power plants down near Tampa so he has applied for those hoping for the best. Getting on with Zachary would be the best option.

Nothing much going on here, just working and mowing and enjoying Florida!
