North Pole

I've been wanting to go on the Polar express in Flag since this summer. I told Josh I wanted to go for my Birthday. Well he didn't think it sounded fun so he didn't put any effort into getting tickets and by the time I looked into they were sold out. Then I heard about the North Pole thing in Greer so I called and was let down again when they said it $70 something per person!!!!!! So I accepted the fact that I would only get to take my kids to see Santa at Nana's like always and then my dad calls and says he gets passes to go on Wed night!!!! YIPPEE. Such a generous group in Greer, it's some kind of Friends and family deal. So I spend all day doing Primary stuff and the kids never got a nap... needless to say Tanner didn't get to go and Cody was a pill all night. It was still a really neat experience. I just wish Cody would have had more fun. The details of the decorations were perfect. You really thought you were in a movie at the North Pole. My favorite parts were when Cody cheered up long enough to run into Santa's lap and tell him he wanted a "bwu backuuum" (blue vacuum) Santa thought he needed to go the bathroom!!! Mrs. Clauses' story time Cody walked right to the front of the room and climbs in her lap while shes trying to read all the kids a story. He interrupts her story a couple times to ask a question and I decide it's time to get him down. She was so patient with him! I definitely recommend the North Pole Experience if you can afford it. I was sure thankful that dad took us.

  1. Stac - thanks for your comment on the Advent Calendar on my blog. I wanted to answer your question, so hopped on over to your blog. :) For putting the verses in the box, I took some address labels and put them on the inside of the box. It was very easy, and I just cut them down to size. Hopefully the adhesion will also help the boxes withstand the years as well!

Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving.
